what is airthrough nonwovne and spunbond nonwoven
Airthrough nonwoven Belongs to a kind of hot air bonding (hot rolling, hot air) non-woven fabric, hot air non-woven is in the short fiber carding, using the hot air on the drying equipment through the fiber network, so that the heat can be generated by bonding non-woven fabric.
Spunbonded nonwoven fabric
After extruding and stretching the polymer to form continuous filament, the filament is laid into a network, and then the fiber network becomes non-woven by self-adhesive, thermal adhesive, chemical adhesive or mechanical reinforcement method. Spunbonded fabrics are long fibers but they are made from plastic chips.
Airthrough nonwoven: It has the characteristics of high degree of looseness, good elasticity, soft hand feeling, strong heat preservation, good air permeability and water permeability. But its strength is lower, easy to be out of shape.
Spunbonded nonwoven fabric: It is made from polymer particles and spun directly from fiber, and heated and pressurized by rollers. It has excellent mechanical properties, such as tensile strength, breaking elongation and tearing strength. Its thickness is very thin, but its softness and air permeability are not as good as hot-air nonwoven fabric.
